An interesting experiment with varying degrees of angular placement of a powerful green laser (~ 200-milliwatt), a glossy surface (in this case, a black plastic speaker playing music). The song is called "We Meet At Last" by "Liquid Stranger". Technically, the reflected laser light forms what is referred to as "diffraction patterns", however the phenomena is a bit more complex than this. Clearly, you can see the molecular structure of the polypropylene begin to vivify due to the intense heat of the 200mw beam. When this is coupled with music, the vibrations caused by the music seem to influence this process. The result is nothing short of incredible to watch. It's as if you are witnessing the emergence of universe, its evolutionary expansion and eventual contraction. Once you become accustomed to "fine tuning" the angle and power of the laser, you will be able to visually navigate a three-dimensional projection of the process, on many different scales.
